Security/ FM Control Room Operator
A fantastic Opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Security / FM Control Room Operator, who will work at our Head Office location in Swords.
You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality and excellent customer service to both our Clients, Management team and staff alike,
Duties as a Security/ FM Control Room Operator are but not limited to:

- Security/FM Control Room Operations
Core Responsibilities:
- Safety Monitoring:
- Responsible for actively monitoring the health safety and welfare of all staff across the Security & FM Estate.
- Compliance:
- To ensure that all book on calls and check calls are made by staff and to ensure that the Company policy and escalation process is followed at all times. Protect all information handled within the control room and comply with GDPR and company policies.
- Incident Management:
- Acting as a first point of contact for Clients, Management, Mobile Patrol Teams and on-site Security & Staff
- Rostering Support & Resource Planning
- Manage and document sick calls, updating rosters and notifying Supervisors/Managers as required.
- Assist management with rostering, shift coverage, operational planning and help reduce overtime.
- Reporting:
- Log all customer queries, incidents, and service requests into the appropriate systems. Follow escalation procedures for urgent or high‑priority issues. Provide real-time updates to clients and management on ongoing incidents or service requests.
- Dispatching:
- Dispatch mobile patrol units and keyholding response teams in line with procedures, including Subcontractors.
- SLA Awareness:
- Track patrol progress and ensure SLA compliance. Liaise with subcontractors when required.
Attention to Detail:
- Maintain accurate logs of all dispatches, responses, and outcomes.
- Technical Competencies:
- Operate telephones, CCTV, Access Control, Vehicle Tracking, Body Worn Cameras and any other systems the Company may introduce over time in order to enhance the Company’s service lines and improve efficiencies.
- Conversant:
- Ability to quickly learn and memorise complex client – specific procedures.
Procedure Knowledge:
- Maintain a deep understanding of procedures across our clients Estates
- Training:
- Attend all company training and complete all training modules assigned to you by the company.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying issues and suggesting solutions.
Job role requirements as a Security Control Room Operator
- Licensing: PSA Licence - Security Guarding
- Background: Have a minimum of 5 years verifiable history
- Communications: Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, Have Strong Customer focus and the ability to remain calm and professional at all times even under pressure
- Experience: Previous experience in the security industry, preferably Have 1+ years’ experience working within a Security Control Room / Alarm Receiving Centre or other security related environment.
- Customer Focus: Have Strong Customer focus and the ability to remain calm and professional at all times even under pressure
- Team Player: Be able to work alone or as part of a team
- IT Skills: Competent level of IT skills in all Microsoft packages
- Decision Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Have the ability to multitask
- Confidentiality: Have High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
- Adaptability: Ability to work shifts both days, nights including weekends in a fast-paced Control room environment.
