Ergo is seeking a Lead Engineer / Technical Account Manager for a permanent hybrid role with our client in South Dublin . As a Lead Engineer / Technical Account Manager you will act as point of escalation for L2 and L3 Engineers on Server, Cloud, Firewall and Cyber Security.
You will also work with an established client book to help identify and recommend IT solutions in terms of OS upgrades, IT Security and infrastructure enhancements.
This role will suit someone who has strong knowledge of the Microsoft stack who is seeking a client-facing role. Training will be provided (if required) to address any knowledge gaps in areas such as network, firewall and cyber security products.

What will you do?
Provide escalated technical support to the Helpdesk
Work as an account manager to ensure customer IT systems are efficient and optimised with the latest technology.
Review current customer network infrastructure, management and security defences.
Review customer plans for development while advising on the latest industry and technical trends, developments and future network requirements.
Drive product and service deployment to meet gaps in customers network management and security particularly in the face of increased cyber-attacks.
Acting as the key contact point the client, looking after their needs and ensuring exceptional client service.
Be the voice of the customer providing internal feedback internally on our performance and how we can better serve our customers.
What do you need?
Previous experience in a senior IT Support role (Systems Administrator, IT Engineer, IT Manager, IT Consultant)
Experience in Technical Sales / Account Management
Knowledge of Microsoft technology such as Windows Server, Office 365
Excellent client-facing skills
Full Driver's License
