About the role
BrookLodge is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Porter to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for various duties that ensure our kitchen operates smoothly and adheres to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Cleanliness: Ensure the kitchen area is kept clean at all times, following a regular cleaning schedule.

Equipment Cleaning: Clean refrigerators, ovens, grills, freezers, and food preparation areas as outlined in the cleaning protocol.

Dish & Pot Washing: Handle the washing of dishes, pots, and pans, as well as laundering cloths, aprons, and kitchen towels as needed.

Food Delivery Management: Receive and store food deliveries efficiently, ensuring proper handling and organization.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to support daily operations and maintain a positive team environment.
Qualifications

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. (COSHH / HACCP)

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus, but not required
