About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, commercially minded Retail Leasing Paralegal to support one of the leading real estate practices in Ireland.
This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced transactional environment, enjoys juggling multiple matters simultaneously and has a genuine interest in property and retail asset management.
The successful candidate will become a trusted member of the team, supporting major retail landlords, investors, developers, asset managers and occupiers across a broad range of leasing and property management matters. They will play a critical role in helping the team deliver efficient, responsive and commercially focused legal services.

Retail Leasing Support
- Prepare, amend and manage leasing documentation, including:
- Agreements for Lease
- Commercial Leases
- Licences for Alterations
- Deeds of Variation
- Rent Review Memoranda
- Side Letters
- Tenant Consent Documentation
- Surrenders and Assignments
- Coordinate execution and completion of lease transactions.
- Maintain leasing trackers and transaction databases.
- Monitor critical dates and ensure timely completion of leasing milestones.
- Liaise directly with clients, managing agents, surveyors, tenants and opposing solicitors.
- Support fee earners with large portfolio acquisitions, disposals and asset management projects.
Asset Management & Property Operations
- Manage high volumes of tenant consent applications and correspondence.
- Assist with interpretation and administration of lease obligations.
- Coordinate responses to tenant requests and landlord approvals.
- Prepare lease summary reports and abstract key commercial terms.
- Maintain property management and compliance records.
- Track rent reviews, break options, lease expiries and renewal dates.
Transaction Management
- Carry out title and property due diligence.
- Order and review searches, planning documentation and property information.
- Assist with completion and post-completion activities.
- Coordinate document execution processes and electronic signing.
- Prepare completion checklists and closing packs.
Land Registry & Property Registrations
- Prepare and submit Land Registry applications.
- Manage registration processes and requisitions.
- Update title records and property databases.
- Liaise with the Property Registration Authority and external service providers.
Client Service & Project Coordination
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and external stakeholders.
- Assist with large-scale leasing projects involving multiple properties.
- Produce status reports and transaction updates.
- Support partners and associates in delivering exceptional client service.
- Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
Knowledge & Innovation
- Maintain precedents, templates and transaction guidance materials.
- Assist with legal and market research relating to retail and commercial property.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology and automation.
- Support knowledge-sharing and training initiatives within the team.

- Experience as a paralegal, legal executive or property administrator within a law firm, real estate business or professional services environment.
