JOB SUMMARY:

The Finance Process Co-ordinator will work as part of our Development Department assisting our Finance Process Manager, who is responsible for managing all financial aspects of both construction and turnkey projects from inception to completion. This includes scheme appraisal, cashflow input, overseeing funding applications and approvals, fund transfers, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The role works closely with project managers, development managers and development department leadership team together with our finance department to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget while ensuring financial risks are controlled. Externally these working relations will extend to our funders, government bodies and legal representatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

First review of funding applications and liaise with Development Officers on any amendments required
Review and reconcile funding approval to initial application
Completion of Invoice Requests Forms and Invoices to ensure funds requested in a timely manner to meet payment deadlines
Preparation of all other necessary paper work to facilitate funding drawdown and transfer
Assist Finance Process Manager in monthly reconciliation of spend to approved budget/contract price
Ensure accuracy of all financial data included within Finance Handover following scheme delivery
Undertake the process for recoupment of costs on all relevant projects
Ensure all financial key documents are correctly recorded and saved in line with Policy and Procedures
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and contract terms
Assist with audits (internal and external) as requested
