TechWorks Marine is on the hunt for a passionate Earth Observation Team Lead to join our fast-growing team. We currently have a vacancy for a someone to lead our EO team and bring in research projects both EO and non EO. This is a client/public facing role involving building up networks and developing new project proposals with existing and new partners on an ongoing basis. What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating and improving marine EO data products by combining satellite and in-situ data.
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver on time.
- Writing clear reports and helping prepare proposals for exciting new projects.
- Keeping up with the latest tech and representing TechWorks at workshops and conferences.
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Remote Sensing, Earth Observation, GIS, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience working with EO data (academic or industry).
- Experience with EO/GIS tools (SNAP, ENVI, QGIS, ArcGIS).
- Comfortable with Linux and using scientific libraries like Pandas, GeoPandas, NumPy, GDAL.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines without breaking a sweat.
