Field Service Engineers - Graduates

Lexas Technologies Ltd founded in Ireland in 2002 are a trusted partner to a leading supplier of wafer fabrication equipment and services to the worldwide semiconductor industry, who provide innovative productivity solutions for plasma etch, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), physical vapor deposition (PVD) and wafer cleaning.

We support the OEM’s (original equipment manufacturers) and direct clients to fulfil their installation and manufacturing needs. Our personnel help them deliver the most challenging hi-tech multi-service projects.

Lexas is headquartered in Ireland with other locations in France, Italy, Germany and USA. We have vast experience in providing installation and maintenance support in the semiconductor industry both in Ireland and internationally.

Our expert team manages our customer requirements and delivers exceptional services around the world ranging from regular maintenance to complex installation and de-installation projects.

Joining Lexas you will be part of our team of specialist engineers and technicians working on exciting projects and cutting edge technologies. We provide comprehensive training for all our employees and exciting opportunities to work in Ireland and around the world.

We are now looking for innovative talent to join our growing team of engineers and technicians.

For our Kildare location in Ireland we are currently looking for Graduate Engineers (no previous experience required) to join the local account teams, supporting our client’s products for their customers by providing on-site technical support.

What your role will involve ?

Position Summary:

Responsible for quality on-site repair and maintenance service of complex electro-mechanical systems. Replace defective units, components or parts as appropriate. Apply troubleshooting techniques to eliminate equipment malfunctions.
Install or relocate customer equipment and perform associated start-up and check-out procedures under supervision.
Perform application related Project Management, which includes executing of project action items under direct supervision. Shadow more experienced engineers at customer sites to gain the relevant certification levels.
Professionally represents the company to the customer.
Frequent business travel required.

Requirements:

Technical certificate/diploma or university degree in Electromechanical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent education.
Qualified Electricians or equivalent.
Basic analytical and problem solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good standard of written and spoken English
Must be able to attend technical training in the United States of America at short notice
