Sous Chef required in O'Gormans, Kilminchy. We are a busy gastropub with a passion for traditional Irish dishes with some great innovative new styles mixed in.

Key responsibilities:
- Food ordering on a daily basis.
- Developing new menu ideas that are innovative and customer focused.
- Implementing effective cost controls without compromising standards of service
- Managing food costs in line with budget.
- Ensuring awareness and implementation of HACCP procedures.
- In addition to exceptional organizational and personal skills, the candidate must have the ability to motivate, direct, train and develop the team.
- The position requires a professional and talented chef with a natural flare for excellent food quality.
- Delegate and assist in training of all chefs and kitchen porters.
- Supervise and carry out preparation and presentation of all food for the restaurant.
- To prepare and cook the best seafood and locally sourced foods the west coast has to offer.
