Position Title: Finance Data Entry Assistant

Location: Crosscare Central Offices, Dublin City Centre
Work Schedule: 9-5 Monday to Friday. Note: Flexibility around busy periods will be required
Contract: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: €30,000
Reporting to: Accounts Manager
The Role: The principal purpose of the role is the control and recording of income and expenditure transactions. The role involves the analysis of transactions by cost centre and the input of financial data to a computerised accounting system.
General Responsibilities:
Process high volumes of supplier invoices into the finance system.
Input and verify employee expense claims.
Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation where applicable.
Ensure correct coding of invoices to nominal accounts, cost centres and projects.
Check invoices for accuracy, VAT treatment and required approvals.
Resolve routine invoice queries with suppliers and internal departments.
Maintain accurate electronic and paper financial records.
Support month-end finance activities as required.
Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.
Ensure compliance with the charity's financial procedures and internal controls.
Assist the wider finance team with administrative duties as required.
Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Finance Manager/Finance Director.
Qualification Required & Experience Required
Previous experience in data entry or finance administration.
Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Strong keyboard and data entry skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
To be aware of and adhere to confidentiality policies and procedures of Crosscare and its code of ethics.
