Personal Trainer & Gym Team Opportunities – NOVA GYM

NOVA GYM is growing and we’re looking for great people to join our team!

We are expanding with our third location in Dublin 8, while also growing and restructuring our existing teams at Phibsborough and Edenmore.

As part of this expansion, we are currently recruiting for Personal Trainers / Gym Team Members across all three locations.

Current Opportunities

NOVA GYM Phibsborough – 1 position available
NOVA GYM Edenmore – 1 position available
NOVA GYM Dublin 8 – Building a completely new team

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on role combining Personal Training, group training, member support, reception duties and the general day-to-day running of the gym.

We are looking for someone who is warm, friendly, punctual, reliable and professional, and who is happy to get involved in all aspects of gym operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing Personal Training sessions and supporting members with their fitness goals.
Building and maintaining your own Personal Training client base.
Delivering group fitness classes.
Teaching HYROX-style training and being confident coaching members through HYROX sessions.
Teaching Spin classes.
Welcoming members and providing excellent customer service.
Handling general reception and member enquiries.
Assisting with memberships, bookings and day-to-day member queries.
Maintaining a professional and welcoming presence on the gym floor.
Completing general cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the gym.
Ensuring equipment, training areas and reception areas are kept clean, tidy and organised.
Carrying out general daily gym tasks and helping with the smooth running of the club.
Supporting gym events, promotions and activities.
Working closely with the wider NOVA GYM team to deliver an excellent member experience.

Personal Training & Commission Opportunity

We are particularly interested in qualified Personal Trainers who have their own clients or are looking to build their own client base.

There is an opportunity to train your own clients within NOVA GYM and earn commission from your Personal Training clients, alongside your general gym team responsibilities.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should have:

Level 3 or Level 4 Personal Training qualification, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Group training qualifications are highly desirable.
Experience delivering fitness classes.
HYROX coaching experience or the ability to confidently teach HYROX-style training.
Spin instructor qualification/experience and the ability to deliver engaging Spin classes.
Previous Personal Training or gym experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of exercise, training and fitness.
Excellent communication and people skills.
