Role:
Missions
Contributes to position BNPP as a global leader for liquidity expertise and knowledge in the market, with a primary focus on the Irish Corporate and Aviation market.
Guarantees advisory for all clients allocated by Coverage Banker
Guarantees solutions and prices with the goal of volumes, duration, quality while keeping profitability into account
Assists the Cash Management team to present an efficient liquidity solution to the client utilising the current BNPP offer.
Contribute to the EMEA deposit targets – term and sight.
Roles, responsibilities and accountabilities
Assists and Supports Cash Management Sales and Coverage
Consultative, product neutral approach on liquidity and short term investment strategy in coordination with Cash Management Officers – utilising Cash Pooling techniques and Investment advisory for excess cash.
Assists with the commercialization of the Notional Pool product in Ireland, supporting pricing, monitoring and providing regular pricing/health review on the products.
Assists cash management with ensuring Notional Pool, Physical Cash Pools are suitable for the client prior to marketing to the client.
Internal Advisor to Distribution channels and Coverage teams to provide expert advice and training
Guarantees solutions and prices with the goal of deposit volumes, duration and quality keeping P/L in mind.
Looks for cross sell with all Transactional Banking business lines at every opportunity
Activity promotes the BNP Paribas electronic channels
Manages portfolio of clients allocated by Coverage
Maintains a detailed pipeline on a weekly basis, following the global LIS quality guidelines.
Follows the regional Incentives Guidelines and ensure each instance is logged correctly
Raises any client issue (for example related to execution, contract negotiation etc.) and seeks internal resolution
Supports and assists sales working with all distribution channel and Coverage team.
Providing knowledge and expertise to the team – for Sight and Term products.
Contributing to client meeting preparation
Maintaining pipeline on a weekly basis, following the LIS quality guidelines.
Following the regional Incentives Guidelines and stepping in according to the delegation matrix and logging each instance correctly
Cooperates with the whole LIS team and namely with global team in
Providing continuous market intelligence and client feedback to serve possible future developments
Attending and seeking required training to achieve the best possible delivery to the clients
Seeking the Regional Product Manager assistance during client visits when technical knowledge is required
Attends relevant industry conferences and networking events to represent BNPP and to gather market intelligence
Interfaces with Market survey agencies to prepare the underlying content and providing expert interpretation.
Performs Sales back up
In periods when the Sales team is receiving multiple requests / peaks of activity provides deposit booking support during regular business and during an Extreme Risk Scenario.
Qualifications & Experience required for this role:
English language essential
CFA
Previous client facing role in a Sales or Relationship Management function
Solid knowledge of Cash Management, Working Capital Management, Corporate Treasury function
Previous experience/exposure to a Corporate Liquidity Management line of business
Full comprehension of Notional Cash Pool structure, pricing and monitoring
Knowledge and experience of the Bank Treasury and ALM functions through direct previous interaction
Knowledge of Fixed Income Investment products (Desirable)
Relationship driven, polished, pro-active, representative.
