Job Responsibilities

Provide quality assurance support for sprint activities and weekly production releases.
Review business requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to prepare test plans, test cases, and testing effort estimates.
Execute manual testing for web applications, APIs, and system integrations to ensure product quality.
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, and perform thorough regression testing on resolved issues.
Develop and improve QA processes, test strategies, and automation frameworks to support continuous product quality.
Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, UI/UX designers, and product stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and release quality through best QA practices.

Shift: SL day time (9am - 6pm)

Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)

Job Requirements

BSc degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a special diploma in Software Quality Assurance is required.
1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
Experience designing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, testing techniques, tools, and best practices.
Experience in writing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Good understanding of API testing and defect tracking tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum software development environments.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
