Join Wills Bros on the Dublin, a major civil engineering and groundworks project delivering a 1.1 km underpass beneath live taxiways and runway infrastructure.
We are hiring experienced Shuttering Gang members, General Operatives and Steel Fixers to support reinforced concrete works, shuttering, steel fixing, formwork preparation, site setup, materials handling and general construction activities on this high-profile airport infrastructure project.
You will join the project team within a Joint Venture delivery model, contributing to a complex, safety-critical airport construction project in a live operational environment.
The successful candidates will carry out essential civil engineering and reinforced concrete works, helping to deliver shuttering, formwork, steel fixing, concrete preparation, site support and general operative duties in line with project specifications and Health & Safety standards.
Applicants must meet all regulatory security requirements, including clearance by the relevant aviation authorities and An Garda Síochána, to obtain and maintain airside security clearance and an Airport ID pass.
About the Role
These roles are best suited to candidates with practical experience on civil engineering, concrete, infrastructure or heavy construction sites, particularly in shuttering, formwork, steel fixing, reinforced concrete works, site support and general operative duties.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out civil engineering, shuttering, steel fixing and general construction activities as directed on a large-scale Dublin Airport infrastructure project
- Assist with formwork preparation, shuttering, reinforcement installation, concrete works and general site setup
- Read and follow site instructions, drawings and supervisor guidance where required
- Support safe handling, movement and preparation of materials, tools and equipment on site
- Assist trades, supervisors and site teams with day-to-day construction activities
- Maintain high standards of site safety, housekeeping and work quality
- Work effectively as part of a site team, following instructions from supervisors and site management
- Contribute to maintaining compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulations and airport security requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience in civil engineering, concrete works, shuttering, steel fixing, groundworks or heavy construction is preferred
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates
- Experience in shuttering, formwork, steel fixing, reinforced concrete works, labouring or general site works is highly desirable
- Ability to work safely in a live site environment and follow site procedures
- Full driving licence and own transport preferred
- Good understanding of Irish Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a site team
