As an AI Business Analyst, you'll bridge the gap between business ambition and AI capability—identifying high-impact opportunities, designing intelligent workflows, and ensuring AI solutions deliver measurable value safely and responsibly.
This role offers the unique challenge of shaping how enterprises adopt AI at scale, with direct influence on client strategy, competitive advantage, and operational excellence. You'll work alongside world-class Product Managers, Architects, Engineers, and AI Specialists, gaining deep exposure to cutting-edge AI tools and methodologies while building a reputation as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position
Proven business analysis experience combined with hands-on AI tool adoption and delivery, demonstrating both traditional BA rigour and modern AI fluency
Proven expertise in business discovery, requirements engineering, and stakeholder management across complex digital transformation programmes, with the ability to translate business challenges into AI-enabled solutions
Strong foundation in Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) and proficiency with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, plus emerging skills in prompt engineering, context engineering, and AI agent specification
Experience in regulated industries (Financial Services, Insurance, or equivalent) is highly valued, along with demonstrated capability in responsible AI governance, change management, and driving adoption at scale
What type of work will I be doing?
Facilitate business discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to uncover AI and automation opportunities across business processes, from operational teams to executive leadership
Design AI-enabled solutions by capturing functional, non-functional, and AI-specific requirements; engineering context for LLMs; and specifying AI prompts, prompt libraries, and agent workflows
Produce structured delivery artefacts—Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria—that translate business outcomes into actionable development work
Map and optimise business processes including customer journeys and future-state operating models, identifying where intelligent automation and AI can drive efficiency and value
Evaluate and recommend AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Rovo, and others) against specific business needs, and assess their integration into existing systems
Define success metrics and business value measures, working with stakeholders to establish clear KPIs and validate that AI outputs meet governance, privacy, and responsible AI standards
Support Agile delivery cycles—sprint planning, backlog refinement, UAT, and business readiness—ensuring seamless handoff from design to deployment and adoption
Drive AI adoption and change management, delivering training, removing barriers to adoption, and building organisational capability to sustain AI-driven transformation
