The Role
At Ekco, our people and culture come first, second to our customers! We have grown at a fast pace over the past year & are highly acquisitive. Due to our continued expansion and planned acquisition pipeline for the next 12 months we are now searching for a Financial Analyst to join the Finance team. The successful candidate will support our UK and Ireland businesses directly as well being part of the current FP&A team. This role will provide for career growth opportunities in the future and a structured on boarding plan will be provided to ensure the candidate is successfully integrated into the team.
Day-to-day at Ekco:
The Financial Analyst will serve as a key business partner to our Commercial and Revenue Operations teams, supporting strategic decision‑making across forecasting, pricing, pipeline analytics, and revenue performance management. This role sits at the intersection of finance, sales, and operations, providing high‑quality insights, driving commercial accountability improving revenue predictability and enabling data‑driven decision‑making within a fast‑growing managed services environment.
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in
- Producing and continually improving the monthly reporting packages that are issued to budget owners. You will drive reporting capabilities and process efficiencies across the group.
- Preparation, communication and support of annual revenue and cost budgets.
- Supporting the revenue forecast process to ensure full year projections are accurate. This will involve liaison with sales functions to ensure closed deals are captured and fully considered from a margin standpoint.
- Financial model design to support Senior Management in their commercial decision making.
- Partnering with Commercial Directors, Sales Leaders, and GTM teams to support growth planning.
- Financial modelling for new business opportunities, pricing strategies, multi‑year contract renewals, and margin optimisation.
- Providing actionable insights on customer‑level profitability, product mix, service line contribution, churn, upsell, and retention trends.
- Support deal governance processes, ensuring pricing discipline and commercial alignment.
- Developing and maintaining operating metric reports that help Management understand business performance and resource utilisation.
- Assist on M&A work across the Group including due diligence modelling requirements
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA
- Knowledge of close and consolidation process.
- Experience with emphasis on analysis, modelling and business partnership
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with building / analysing financial models.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently.
