We're currently seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join the team on a fixed term basis at Dean Group. If you have experience in delivering commercial projects, we'd love to hear from you!
Job Purpose:
To lead, coordinate and deliver strategic commercial projects that drive business performance, operational efficiency and scalable ways of working across the organisation. The role is responsible for managing cross-functional initiatives, supporting commercial transformation, ensuring effective implementation of commercial systems and processes, and leading the commercial delivery of new hotel openings and transitions.

Lead and coordinate projects from initiation through to implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and aligned to business objectives.

Develop project plans, timelines, risk registers and reporting dashboards using project management tool Monday.com.

Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.

Be the 'connector' between the central commercial department and wider business teams to ensure a seamless and joined up approach towards each project.

Highlight areas for improvements in existing ways of working, tools & processes across the commercial department.

Project manage all project plans as it relates to commercial delivery of openings and transitions.
Location and hours: Based in Dublin or within commuting distance. Travel will be required to Dean Group properties.
Core business hours 09:00 to 17:00, with 3 days based in the Dublin office and 2 days based remotely/working from home.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management - assist to facilitate and activate commercial projects, working with leaders of each department to support as required. Work on Monday.com to manage project dashboards, reporting and meeting cadence in order to enable effective decisions/actions to be undertaken in the agreed timescale.

Commercial Openings Roadmap Delivery - Own the project plan and critical path for all hotel openings and transitions. Coordinate all commercial workstreams, dependencies, milestones and governance across Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Digital, Reservations, CRM and Operations, ensuring every opening is delivered on time and commercially ready for launch.

Functional Ways of Working/ Brand Management - Work with other functional teams/leaders to review, develop and implement improvements to commercial processes, systems and ways of working to support business growth and efficiency. Document processes and establish scalable frameworks that support future expansion.

Business Planning/Budgeting - Support Commercial Team as appropriate in business planning, cost management, pre-opening budget & feeds into pre-opening costs and opening P&L's
- Hotel Opening Planning - Lead the commercial workstream for new hotel openings and transitions. Coordinate commercial readiness across Revenue, Distribution, Marketing, Sales, Reservations and Digital functions to ensure successful market entry.

Create Synergy - between Commercial and Operations departments to create a more streamlined approach, highlight any risks and opportunities identified to department heads

Stakeholder Management - analyse and communicate benefits and risks of project plans. Working with key stakeholders to monitor the overall project performance, aligning multiple senior internal and external stakeholders from project construction and acquisition to information technology and strategic planning.
- Celebrate growth and change culture - providing the training, coaching and tools so that the company culture to improvement identification and realisation are ingrained into the business DNA.

Implement and ensure consistent brand standards - are being met from the onset for new openings and implement and support alignment across the trading estate.

Streamline and document commercial processes - for ease of scalability, leading on brand management and supporting brand standards to deliver on brand guest experience on brand

Future planning for internationalisation - into new markets working with on-site teams and senior stakeholders to identify nuances before they cause negative impact.

Project Governance & Reporting - Maintain project plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies), decision logs, milestones and executive reporting through Monday.com. Escalate risks and blockers with clear mitigation plans.

Commercial Readiness - Ensure all commercial deliverables are completed before opening, including pricing strategy, distribution connectivity, CRS/PMS configuration, OTA activation, website launch, CRM setup, photography, collateral, sales activity, marketing campaigns, reporting, training and brand standards.
