Location: Mayo, Roscommon, Westmeath, Offaly, Tipperary
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm
Reports to: Head of Sales & Commercial Sales Ireland
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to join AG’s Ireland sales team. In this role, you will drive sales of AG Paving & Building Products by developing strong relationships with merchants and key decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, and maximising sales growth across your region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and expanding customer relationships while achieving and exceeding regional sales and profitability targets.

About The Role
About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability across a designated region, developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring AG remains the supplier of choice within the market. The role requires a proactive and customer-focused approach, working collaboratively across the business to deliver exceptional service and achieve commercial objectives.
Sales & Revenue Growth

Increase sales revenue and profitability across existing customers, including merchants and key accounts, while securing new business opportunities within the region.

Identify accounts with untapped potential and develop plans to increase market share and customer spend.

Accurately forecast customer demand and business requirements to support effective operational planning.

Play a key role in delivering strategic sales initiatives and projects aimed at increasing revenue within targeted growth markets.
Customer Relationship Management

Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key customers, merchants, site managers, and decision-makers.

Develop and implement account strategies to enhance customer performance and maximise long-term value.

Liaise with customers and site managers to review and update Sales Agreements, ensuring stock levels and delivery requirements are accurately planned and maintained.

Promote first-class customer service and ensure AG consistently delivers on its OTIF commitments
Sales Process & CRM Management

Maintain full visibility of all sales opportunities, both active and pipeline, within the assigned region.

Utilise the company's CRM system to accurately record, manage, and analyse customer, project, and account information.

Ensure all customer and contact records are maintained and appropriately RAG rated.

Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, working closely with Internal Sales and Business Development to ensure all project milestones, delivery dates, and customer actions are updated promptly and accurately.
Internal Collaboration

Work effectively as part of the AG external sales team, contributing to team objectives and best practice sharing.

Collaborate closely with Internal Sales, Specification, Marketing, Credit Control, Dispatch, and other departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Liaise with the Credit Control team to ensure appropriate credit checks are completed for new accounts and credit limit adjustments are reviewed where required.
Brand & Market Development

Identify emerging market trends, industry developments, and new opportunities that support AG's growth strategy.

Enhance customer perceptions of AG by promoting the company's products, services, expertise, and commitment to quality.

Support the development of new markets and opportunities through targeted business development activities.

Act as a positive ambassador for AG, reflecting and promoting the company's values and professional standards at all times.
Strategic Contribution

Contribute to the achievement of regional and company-wide sales objectives through effective planning, market intelligence, and relationship management.

Provide insights and recommendations on customer needs, competitive activity, and market opportunities to support strategic decision-making.

Take ownership of regional performance and contribute to AG's continued growth and success.
