Position Summary:
The role of IT Coordinator is a senior ICT Support role which will involve working very closely with the IT Manager in what will be a team of two. The IT Dept function is also supported by a Managed Service provider.This role may suit a senior ICT Support professional looking to take the next step in their career. The role will also provide some opportunities to plan and deliver projects that will greatly add a depth of insight and learning opportunity to the role. The role will be based in the National Office in Westland Square, Dublin 2 with normal working office hours. Currently this role will be on a hybrid role with the onsite attendance to be agreed upon with the IT Manager.
Essential credentials:
- 6-7 years working in a senior IT role such as IT Officer or Senior IT administrator and/or a Third level qualification to degree standard in Computer Science or similar discipline
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge and experience using Office 365 admin portal and admin features/apps
- A practical knowledge of IT hardware such as servers, laptops, tablet, mobile phones.
- Strong customer service skills.
- A strong knowledge of Cloud computing principles and familiarity with all major vendor platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure.
- Be highly organised, punctual and be able to communicate clearly.
- Strong knowledge of network principles and a networking certification would be beneficial.
- Strong knowledge on IT security principles and an industry qualification in this area while not essential, would be desirable.
- To have the strategic vision to advise the IT Manger on IT strategy planning and provide substantial input into project planning, scheduling and execution.
- Positive, enthusiastic and solution oriented.
- The ability to multitask and manage response times under pressure.
- Windows 10/11 administration knowledge/experience
- Windows server knowledge. Microsoft Server Technologies - (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Hands on experience of network fundamentals (cabling, setting up network appliances and troubleshooting)
- Experience in administering an IT Helpdesk
- Knowledge and experience in administering a VOIP system such as Cisco VOIP
- Experience and knowledge of cloud backup systems.
- Excellent knowledge and hands on experience of maintaining IT workstations, laptops
- Full, clean driving licence.and a willingness to travel to Jigsaw sites nationwide.

Responsibilities & Abilities:
- The ability to work within a team of two whilst being involved in decision making and liaising with stakeholders throughout the Organisation.
- The ability to focus on IT project delivery when required.
- To fill in for the IT Manager while they are on leave and to take over tasks as assigned from IT Manager. Such tasks include attending meetings with IT Vendors and suppliers, triaging workload and making strategic decisions.
- To promote and advocate the ICT mission of Jigsaw and form a strong relationship with management across the Organisation in advocating the ICT mission.
- To research and test solutions which may improve existing ICT systems and to challenge the status quo.
- To take ownership of the IT Helpdesk function and ensure a total completion of all IT requests.
- Licencing management: To maintain licence levels as required and to ensure all licencing assignments are updated across the suite of systems.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities while providing IT hardware support and software support to all Jigsaw staff.
- Ownership of IT stocks: Inventory and asset management of IT equipment and Licensing as well as decommissioning and disposal of IT equipment. To ensure stocks are kept up to date and refreshed in a timely fashion. To ensure there is always contingency stock in place to meet surge in demand.
- To take ownership of onboarding/offboarding process to ensure all directories and access control processes are maintained up to date.
- Procurement/Ordering of IT equipment.
- Occasional travel to sites around Ireland to assist in IT related issues. Onsite visits to include IT inspection and preventative maintenance where possible as well as retrieval of unused equipment.
- Print server management. To maintain licencing directory and remove old entries.
- Flow forma: To maintain licencing directory and modify flows where needed.
- Mobile Device Management: To update licencing on the Mobile Device Management portal and troubleshoot MDM and mobile phone issues.
- Possess a high level of discipline while displaying a high degree of flexibility and professionalism.
- Positive, enthusiastic and solution oriented.
- Excellent technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills and experience and the ability to deal effectively with people at different levels and in different situations.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Factors taken into account in determining an appropriate scale include the candidates knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications relevant to the job.The salary range for this role will be 45,127 - 64,811
