As Director, Change & Capability, based in Ireland, you will drive the adoption of strategic transformations across our Operations organization, with a pivotal focus on the SAP S/4HANA program and broader digital and data enablement. Your leadership will align people, processes, and technology to strengthen agility, quality, and value—so patients experience the impact. You will work across supply chain, manufacturing, quality, procurement, finance, IT and ERP programs, data and analytics, HR, and L&D to embed new ways of working and build capabilities that last. This role gives you the platform, sponsorship, and reach to shape operating models and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will be a trusted advisor to leaders, bridging strategy, process, and technology to ensure value is realized from transformation initiatives at scale. Accountabilities: Change Management & Transformation: Lead end-to-end change for global and regional initiatives—digital enablement, process optimization, ERP implementation, and operating model evolution—integrated with program delivery plans to drive adoption and measurable business outcomes. Stakeholder Insight & Engagement: Conduct impact assessments, define targeted engagement strategies, and build sponsorship capability with senior leaders to secure alignment and sustained commitment throughout transformation. Capability Building & Learning Strategy: Define competency frameworks, capability roadmaps, and role-based learning pathways; design scalable learning solutions (ILT, digital, simulations, job aids, knowledge resources) that turn complex processes into practical, user-centric experiences. Measurement & Value Realization: Establish and track adoption, readiness, engagement, sustainment, capability maturity, and performance metrics; monitor roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes and communicate insights to leadership to ensure value realization. Process Excellence & Ways of Working Enablement: Drive standardized processes and future-state ways of working across functions and sites; support continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC; ensure alignment of processes, technology, governance, and user behaviors. Collaboration & Communications: Develop clear communication plans tailored to executive, managerial, and frontline audiences; facilitate governance forums, workshops, and decision-making sessions that enable cross-functional collaboration and timely resolution of issues. Leadership & Escalation: Act as a senior escalation point for change-related risks and adoption challenges; drive resolution through effective governance, data-driven insights, and strong stakeholder management to maintain momentum and sustain results. Essential Skills/Experience: - Significant experience in Change Management, Organizational Development, Capability Building, Learning & Development, or Business Transformation. - Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programs and driving organizational adoption, ideally S/4HANA projects. - Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders across multiple functions. - Excellent understanding of change management methodologies and organizational readiness approaches. - Ability to influence without formal authority across all organizational levels. - Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities. - Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and organizational change. - Ability to tailor messages for executive, managerial, and frontline audiences. - Strong presentation and workshop facilitation capabilities. - Ability to translate business strategy into practical change and capability initiatives. - Expertise in adult learning principles and capability development practices. - Experience designing scalable learning solutions and competency frameworks. - Strong focus on creating practical, user-centric learning experiences. - Results-oriented with a focus on measurable business outcomes. - Ability to define and monitor meaningful adoption and capability metrics. Desirable Skills/Experience: - Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations or large ERP transformation programs. - Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, supply chain, or other regulated industries. - Experience developing enterprise learning and capability strategies. - Prosci Change Management certification or equivalent. - Lean Six Sigma certification or experience applying continuous improvement methodologies.
