Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of major infrastructure work, Wills Bros is seeking an experienced Junior Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years’ Quantity Surveying experience in civil engineering, infrastructure or main contractor projects.
This permanent Quantity Surveyor role is based in Dublin Airport, a major aviation infrastructure project supporting the future development and operational efficiency of one of Ireland’s most important transport hubs.

Civil Engineering Project Experience
- Roads and transport infrastructure.
- Bridges, structures, utilities and water infrastructure.
- Earthworks, drainage and heavy civil engineering projects.
- Public works and infrastructure schemes.
Project Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities
- Manage project costs, cost control, valuations, variations, payment applications and commercial reporting on a major civil engineering infrastructure project.
- Support procurement, tender analysis, subcontractor management, subcontractor accounts, contract administration and final account preparation.
- Work closely with project, site, engineering and commercial teams to ensure accurate cost control and contract administration.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, cost-value reconciliations, cashflow updates, cost reports and accurate commercial records.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities, maintain accurate records and contribute to the successful commercial delivery of the project.
Project Quantity Surveyor Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor, Civil Quantity Surveyor or QS within civil engineering, infrastructure or a main contractor environment.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Commercial Management or a related construction discipline.
- Degree obtained from an Irish third-level institution essential.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in cost management, subcontractor accounts, variations, procurement, reporting deadlines and project financial control.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites nationwide.
Desirable: Experience in aviation infrastructure, roads, bridges, structures, reinforced concrete, drainage, utilities, earthworks, heavy civils or public works projects.
