Full job description

We currently require a Practice Administrator/Medical Secretary to join our team. This is a position for 24 hours per week.

The working hours are Monday, 8am to 4pm, Wednesday 2pm to 6pm, Thursday 2pm to 6pm and Friday 8am to 4pm.

Only candidates available for these hours will be considered.

Must be willing to cover sick leave, annual leave and the occasional Saturday.

We are a GP Surgery based in Dundrum. We are situated on the Luas line. We are fully committed to providing healthcare of the highest medical standards. Our team aim to provide a complete range of health care to patients of all ages. This is a friendly very fast paced environment which would only be suited to a dynamic personality who would be joining a friendly and supportive team.

Requirements:

· Have proficient computer skills and knowledge of (Excel, Microsoft, Word etc) essential

. Ability to work under pressure

· Experience of working in a similar environment is essential.

· Happy to work in a very fast paced environment

· Happy to work as part of an Admin team.

· Experience of managing a patient and/or other databases

Responsibilities:

· Front of house desk duties at reception

· Ensure patient records are current and accurate

· Supervise patient scheduling

· Oversee registration of patients

· Ensure patient satisfaction

You will be responsible for maintaining the Surgery areas in neat and tidy condition at all times

If you’re not willing to work hard as part of a team then this is probably not the position for you.

The ideal candidate would be someone who can work under pressure and support team members in an extremely busy front desk.

Pay: €15.00-€16.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
