Nuvaila is seeking an Associate Director of Business Operations to support the planning, coordination, governance, and execution of strategic initiatives. The role will serve as a key operational partner across cross-functional programs, helping ensure that priorities are aligned, projects remain on track, risks are proactively managed, milestones are achieved, and leadership receives clear, timely, and actionable updates.
The successful candidate will partner closely with Commercial, Sourcing, Market Access, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, Legal and External Partners to support product launches, patient support initiatives, governance processes, and ongoing business operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead complex, cross-functional programs from concept through implementation, launch, and ongoing operational management

Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, decision points, and governance structure
-
Drive launch readiness activities, including timeline management, critical path tracking, cross-functional coordination, action-item follow-up, and escalation of risks and barriers
-
Ensure alignment of priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives, helping the team remain focused on the highest-impact business outcomes

Establish and maintain operating rhythms, governance forums, working groups, dashboards, and status reporting to support effective business management
-
Prepare executive-ready dashboards, status updates, decision paper, presentations and monthly or quarterly business review materials

Analyze available business, product, and market data to identify emerging risks, performance trends, growth opportunities, and market-share shifts

Translate data and business performance trends into actionable insights that support commercial decisions, patient access outcomes, supply planning, and leadership prioritization

Support external manufacturers, vendors, and service-provider engagements by tracking deliverables, decisions, risks, issues, and follow-up actions

Required Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent education and professional experience

Proven significant experience in program management, business operations, commercial operations, strategy execution, or a related operational leadership role

Proven experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries

Demonstrated solid program management and governance skills
-
Demonstrated solid analytical capability, including experience working with large or complex datasets to generate actionable business insights, recommendations, and executive-level decision support

Demonstrated ability to work across complex, matrixed organizations and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
-
Demonstrated solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and present it clearly to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

Demonstrated solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms

Demonstrated familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools
Preferred Qualifications:

Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent practical experience

Proven experience supporting product launches, commercialization, business transformation, or new business startup initiatives

Proven experience working with external manufacturers, vendors, service providers, or strategic partners
-
Proven experience working across multiple countries
