You will be able to make an impact with your analytical, hands-on and autonomous approach, and contribute to the successful performance of our Contract Management team that works across Europe.</p><p></p><p>You are a reliable partner when it comes to the preparation of contracts /subcontracts, contract administration and project execution. If so, we look forward to receiving your application. </p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Please note we are unable to provide visa support on this position.</b></p><p></p><p><b>How you'll make an impact</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop contract strategies based on Hitachi Energy's policies, customer requirements, and the overall execution strategy considering risk, pricing, scope, and schedule. </p></li><li><p>Provide guidance and leadership on contract related matters to cross functional business team members. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Identify the contract baseline (including terms and conditions, specifications, drawings, estimate, proposal, schedule and other documents incorporated in the contract) and highlights areas of opportunities and potential risk. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects on a portfolio of contracts / subcontracts (i.e. payments, claims, variation orders, warranties, provisions, guarantees, etc.). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Verify that all parties to the contract have fulfilled their contractual obligations and there are no responsibilities outstanding. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Together with Hitachi Energy's Legal Representatives, develop the negotiation strategy and support negotiations. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Support the Legal team in handling formal dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration proceedings. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Align with Hitachi Energy Legal to draft, negotiate and finalize agreements during the Sales and Project Execution phases</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your background</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Project Management, ideally within the power sector, particularly in High Voltage, along with an open and enthusiastic 'hands-on' approach.</p></li><li><p>In depth knowledge of construction law, contract administration and cost management are essential.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong educational history in Quantity Surveying / Contract Management </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Professional accreditation such as MRICS or similar is desirable </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Quantity Surveying and / or Law Degree is essential </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong Organizational, leadership and communication skills </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience working within high-profile, regulated environments </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and strong communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with stakeholders </p></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
