Senior Analyst Dividend Rebates & Commissions, Transfer Agency
Role
Reporting to the Transfer Agency Dividends, Rebates and Commissions Manager, this role is responsible for the end-to-end calculation and processing of rebates and commissions within defined deadlines. It includes performing quality assurance (QA) reviews of team output to ensure accuracy and control adherence. The role also ensures full compliance with client service standards and regulatory requirements, while collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
Principal Responsibilities

Prepare, quality assure (QA), and process regular client rebate payments in line with agreed timelines.

Prepare, review, and initiate reinvestment rebate transactions.

Ensure all related cash and fund movements are completed accurately and within deadlines.

Calculate, prepare, and QA both initial and renewal commission payments.

Set up rebates in accordance with Terms of Business (TOB) on core rebate systems (FRA and MFTA).

Liaise regularly with clients and brokers, ensuring all queries are resolved within agreed service levels.

Produce daily, weekly, and monthly statistics and KPI reporting.
Proactively monitor and assist with query resolution, engaging with other departments as required.

Support the ongoing implementation and enhancement of Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives.

Provide day-to-day oversight, guidance, and support to India-based teams, ensuring processing quality and timeliness, and escalating to local management where appropriate.

Collaborate with the Manager and Group Projects team on assigned client initiatives and projects.

Analyse monthly management information and report key findings to the Accounts Manager.

Maintain strong working relationships with third parties, including clients, internal departments, and auditors.

Foster close collaboration with key internal teams, including Dealing, Registration, and Client Service Management.

Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support business needs.

Ensure all client and team checklists are completed accurately and signed off in a timely manner.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience

Strong working knowledge of rebates and commissions processes.

Proven ability to review, analyse, and resolve complex issues while working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach.

Ability to work independently and use initiative to drive tasks to completion.

Strong verbal reasoning and numerical skills (essential).

Proficient in MS Excel and general system navigation, with the ability to quickly learn internal platforms (essential).

Experience working with multiple currencies and associated processes.

Good understanding of operating within a regulated environment and associated compliance requirements.

High level of numeracy with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

Advanced PC proficiency, including a thorough working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
