Full job description

We are currently searching for a highly-motivated and experienced Chef de Partie to join our esteemed culinary team at Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Links. This position is pivotal in supporting the daily kitchen activities and in preparing exquisite dishes to meet the expectations of our valued guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within the specialty section.
Prioritizing and controlling tasks to ensure smooth and timely operations of the kitchen.
Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the kitchen, adhering to all company policies and relevant health and safety guidelines.
Collaborating with the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and help maintain a positive, cooperative work environment.

Qualifications:

At least 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
Culinary arts diploma or equivalent professional culinary certificate is desirable.
Strong knowledge and passion for culinary arts, food presentations, and quality standards.
Proficient in using various cooking techniques and ingredients, with an understanding of international and local cuisines.
Ability to manage high-volume service calmly and effectively, meeting deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a keen attention to detail.
