Role: Senior Functional Consultant - D365 BC (Business Central)

Department: D365 BC (Business Central)

Contract Type: 12 month Contractor (daily rate)

Location: Dublin (Flexible Hybrid Model)

Travel Required: Occasional

Reporting To: D365 BC Practice Lead

We believe that this acquisition further strengthens Storm’s service portfolio for both new and existing clients in Ireland, particularly within the managed IT services and cyber security space, and facilitates future growth, enabling the delivery of its Microsoft business solutions to the UK market. In turn, this will see both companies extend their capabilities across larger scale projects and to a wider breadth of clients. Together, Storm Technology and Littlefish will continue to deliver industry leading services to existing customers across the areas of managed IT services, cloud services, and strategic consultancy. Service Deliverables

Analyse, breakdown and troubleshoot customer’s practices and functional processes.
Define, explain, propose and conceptualise solutions, both technically to a development team, and in a user-friendly proposal to the customer.
Requirement gathering, workshop planning and document control
Engaging with Clients at Senior level and managing project communications as appropriate
Advise on best practice and contribute to it’s delivery.
Ability to delegate tasks and provide feedback on work reviewed
Guide and mentor more junior team members
Responsible for task lifecycle management.
Be budget conscious and assist the fulfilment teams with the necessary controls for successful delivery.
Customer account relationship management.
Coordinate and raise queries with the Support team.
Responsible for work administration and task ownership
Be an ambassador of the company and the software solutions we provide.

Skillset

Degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent.
5+ years relevant experience.
Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft D365 Business Central/NAV, both client end use as well as solution design theories.
Knowledge and exposure to Microsoft Dynamics technologies and O365.
Budget management knowledge.
Experience facilitating design workshops and preparing functional design specification.
Software consulting, business consulting or IT management experience.
Ability to delegate tasks and provide feedback to users.
Client-facing experience with good discussion, participation and presentation skills.

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with all personnel, regardless of role/seniority.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good attention to detail and quality of work.
Excellent team player with positive outlook, mentorship of junior team members
Excellent time management and time keeping skills.
