The role of the Heating Maintenance Technician is to be fully responsible for heating plant monitoring and ensuring that all systems are operating optimally. Working closely with the maintenance team this role will also perform onsite installations and maintenance of biomass systems. The aim is to continuously work towards and support the improvement of the maintenance service and customer experience.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for heating plant monitoring and ensuring that the system is operating optimally.

Perform varying corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for heating systems.

Utilises mechanical/plumbing knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Interact with customers on a professional level as part of a multi-tasking team.

Perform onsite installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.

Check and provide complete documentation to clients.

Carry out site root cause analysis.

Apply root cause analysis techniques on all major and recurring faults.

Investigate technical failures and prepare formal technical reports.

Record keeping and management of spare part movements.
Requirements
-
2+ years of facility maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the maintenance of boiler and heat pumps is an advantage.

Able to read and interpret single line diagrams and schematics

Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 kgs

Willing to travel regularly

Strong written and communication skills.

Good IT skills.
- Must be eligible to work full time in Ireland.

Must have a valid permit to drive in Ireland independently.
- Knowledge of how to use hand tools

Able to read and interpret single line diagrams and schematics

Demonstrated experience in the maintenance of boiler and heat pumps is an advantage

Evidence of continued professional development to degree level or equivalent level of knowledge and experience

Ability to drive in Ireland independently.
- Min. 2 Years experience using hand tools.
- Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Willing to learn and be good team player
- Experience of biomass boiler installations or maintenance experience
Demonstrate exceptional skills in maintenance management software and applications.
