We are currently looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated Full-Time Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our busy and welcoming dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working as part of a professional team.
We would ideally like to recruit someone with a Dental Nursing qualification, however we are also happy to consider applicants who have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
As a Dental Nurse, you will:
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked, clean and ready for patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical administration.
- Support the clinical team to ensure appointments run efficiently.
- Provide reassurance and excellent care to patients throughout their visit.
As a Receptionist, you will:
- Welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to patient enquiries.
- Book, confirm and manage appointments.
- Process payments and maintain patient accounts.
- Update patient records using our dental practice management software.
- Liaise with patients regarding treatment plans and appointments.
- Help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

- Previous experience in a dental practice is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for suitable candidates.
