Bleeper is a Dublin-based micromobility company operating bike-sharing services, bike libraries and secure cycling infrastructure across the city. We run a busy, well-equipped city centre workshop focused on keeping a large fleet safe, reliable and on the road. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Roadside Technician to join our Operations Team.
This is an active, outdoor role that involves cycling an e-bike throughout Dublin to inspect bikes, rebalance the fleet, support bike bunker operations, and help maintain a high-quality service for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Cycle an e-bike throughout Dublin to complete assigned tasks
- Carry out inspections of bikes on street
- Identify and report damage, faults, or safety concerns
- Rebalance bikes between locations to optimise availability
- Perform basic maintenance and adjustments using hand tools
- Assist with bike bunker inspections and maintenance
- Use company smartphone apps to manage and complete tasks
- Follow daily work plans and instructions from senior team members
- Maintain accurate records of completed work
- Represent the company professionally in public areas
Essential Requirements
- Passion for cycling and sustainable transport
- Comfortable riding an e-bike in an urban environment
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 22kg safely
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Strong problem solving and fault finding ability
- Ability to use initiative when required
- Comfortable using smartphone apps and technology
- Comfortable following instructions from senior staff
- Fluent in English.
Desirable Experience
- Experience using hand tools
- Experience in bicycle maintenance, mechanics, delivery, logistics, facilities, or field-based operations
- Experience working independently and managing workload effectively
- Full training will be provided for the right candidate
