Electrical Project Manager
Location: Dublin & Leinster (Project Dependent)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering electrical projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
You will oversee projects from pre-construction through to completion, managing programme, procurement, commercial awareness, resources and client relationships while leading site teams to successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery
- Manage multiple electrical projects from commencement through to completion.
- Deliver projects safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and manage project programmes, milestones and two-week look-ahead schedules.
- Monitor project performance against labour, material and financial budgets.
- Identify risks early and implement solutions to minimise delays and cost impacts.
- Ensure all installations comply with drawings, specifications and current regulations.
Team Leadership
- Lead and support Site Foremen, Electricians, Apprentices and Subcontractors.
- Ensure projects are appropriately resourced throughout each phase.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and productivity.
- Mentor site management teams and promote continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive, professional and safety-focused culture across all projects.
Health & Safety
- Champion the highest standards of Health & Safety across all projects.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, Irish legislation and client requirements.
- Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Monitor site compliance through regular inspections and audits.
- Ensure plant, equipment and personnel remain fully compliant throughout the project lifecycle.
Procurement & Commercial Management
- Procure materials, plant and equipment in line with project programmes.
- Work closely with suppliers to achieve best value while maintaining quality.
- Coordinate procurement with the Finance team and ensure compliance with purchasing procedures.
- Monitor labour, plant and material costs against budgets.
- Identify and notify variations, delays and commercial risks promptly.
- Support quantity surveying and project cost reporting where required.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and main contractors.
- Attend coordination, progress and client meetings.
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), technical queries and project documentation.
- Ensure contractual communications are recorded accurately and issued within required timeframes.
- Maintain the company's professional reputation at all times.
Quality Assurance
- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures throughout the project.
- Carry out regular quality inspections.
- Ensure installations meet specification and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee project commissioning, snagging, close-out documentation and O&M manual submissions.
- Deliver successful project handovers to clients.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing commercial electrical projects.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical installations and Irish regulations.
- Proven experience managing project programmes, budgets and resources.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desirable
- Experience using Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar project management software.
- Safe Pass.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience delivering healthcare, commercial, hospitality or public sector projects.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination processes.
