Position Summary:

This is a 12-month Fixed Term contract role
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences and providing expert HR support? As a Specialist within McKesson's Global Employee Care team, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of proactive, accurate and timely support across a broad range of employee lifecycle, benefits, leave of absence, HR systems, compliance and HR operations activities. The role requires the ability to operate in a complex, demanding, multi-country environment and to provide high-quality support across varied country-specific requirements, policies, systems and regulatory frameworks.
As a trusted Employee Care Specialist, you will ensure excellent support to employees, People Leaders and HR partners with complex HR queries and cases, including benefits administration, statutory and company-sponsored leave of absence programmes, HR programs, and HR lifecycle processes. In addition, you will play a key role in role in identifying and progressing continuous improvement opportunities and contributing to projects that automate and transform how benefits and leave of absence services are delivered and enhance employee experience.
Success in this role requires an individual who can manage complex employee and stakeholder interactions; analyse situations and determine appropriate actions or escalation routes and contribute to continuous improvement, automation and enhanced employee experience across Employee Care International service delivery.
This role requires an individual who can:

- Navigate multiple HR systems and ensure accurate documentation and data integrity is maintained.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Support
Provide proactive and accurate operational HR support across employee lifecycle processes for designated international countries.
Manage and execute onboarding and offboarding activities, including RIF and retirement processes
Support employee lifecycle transactions and employment changes, ensuring accurate documentation, system updates and communication with relevant stakeholders.
Support employees, People Leaders and HR partners with complex HR queries and cases, including country specific legal requirements and legal required processes.
Ensure all necessary resources and documentation are available, accurate and optimized.
Administration Benefits
Support case escalations for designated international countries in accordance with company policies, vendor requirements, payroll requirements and local regulations, in relation to benefits administration.
Conduct representative quality calibrations. Audit calls and webcases and provide representatives with constructive feedback and additional training as needed.
Ensure the accurate submission of payroll inputs related to benefits programmes where system automation is not available, ensuring alignment with eligibility requirements and payroll processing schedules.
Partner with Total Rewards, Payroll, third-party vendors and internal stakeholders on shared processes and projects.
Idenifty and address recurring issues, process gaps or service challenges impacting benefits administration and implement improvements.
Leave of Absence Administration
Support case escalations for designated international countries in accordance with company policies, vendor requirements, payroll requirements and local regulations, in relation to leave of absence administration.
Ensure appropriate administration of Protected Leave processes.
Conduct representative quality calibrations. Audit calls and webcases and provide representatives with constructive feedback and additional training as needed.
Ensure the accurate submission of payroll inputs related to leave of absence, ensuring alignment with eligibility requirements, statutory requirements and payroll processing schedules.
Idenifty and address recurring issues, process gaps or service challenges impacting Leave of Absence administration and implement improvements.
Support policy updates as required
Work closely with internal partners such as the Total Rewards team who owns the end-to-end Leave of Absence process.
Payroll Inputs
Collate monthly payroll inputs and ensure employee changes, benefits updates, leave events and other relevant HR transactions are communicated to Payroll on a timely and accurate basis.
Partner with Payroll to resolve data issues, discrepancies or employee queries relating to HR transactions, leave or benefits inputs.
Partner with Payroll on automation opportunities and process review to ensure data accuracy, process efficiencies, reduction in manual intervention and better alignment with core processes
HR Systems Knowledge, Testing and Process Support
Knowledge expert in systems used by Employee Care in the delivery of HR Services including ServiceNow, Workday, ADP WFM, SharePoint, and relevant third-party vendor portals, ensuring systems are set up for success.
Support system testing, user acceptance testing, process validation and implementation activities as required.
Identify system or process issues impacting service delivery and escalate or support resolution as appropriate.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of process documentation, knowledge articles, standard operating procedures and employee-facing resources.
Support system and process improvements aimed at automation, efficiency, data accuracy and improved employee experience.
Compliance, Governance and Risk Management
Support compliance with company policies, country-specific employment requirements, data privacy obligations and HR operational controls.
Manage and maintain tracking systems to support legal and regulatory compliance, including right to work, contract end dates, record retention requirements and other country-specific compliance obligations.
Ensure employee records, benefits information, leave documentation and HR lifecycle data are maintained accurately and in accordance with applicable requirements.
Follow established controls, approval workflows and governance requirements.
Maintain data privacy and confidentiality standards when handling employee information.
Support reporting, audit activity, documentation requests and remediation actions as required.
Identify compliance risks, data gaps or recurring control issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
Education/Training –
Business Experience –
Four (4) years' experience in HR operations, employee services, employee relations, or a related HR discipline.
Experience supporting HR operations across multiple countries, preferably including Ireland, the UK and India.
Experience working in a complex, multi-country HR environment with multiple stakeholders, systems, policies and regulatory requirements.
Experience with benefits, payroll inputs, leave of absence administration and employee lifecycle processes preferred.
