Join a state-of-the-art vaccines manufacturing facility in Dundalk and become a key member of the Digital Manufacturing Operations team. This role offers the opportunity to support and enhance critical manufacturing systems, ensuring reliable, compliant, and efficient operations across a highly automated production environment.
As an OEM Senior Specialist, you will provide technical leadership for OEM and building management systems, working closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and automation teams to support continuous improvement, troubleshooting, system optimisation, and operational excellence.
Bring energy, knowledge, and innovation to carry out the following:
- Provide technical expertise and support for OEM and automation systems used across manufacturing operations.
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and resolution of system-related issues.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and lifecycle management activities.
- Ensure automation systems remain reliable, compliant, and inspection-ready.
- Lead the installation, qualification, and implementation of new equipment and automation solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and manufacturing efficiency.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory activities related to automation systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, maintenance plans, and system standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data, system insights, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Act as a key technical contact within daily operational and tiered support processes.
What Skills You Will Need
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Significant experience supporting automation systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens TIA, iFIX, and industrial automation platforms.
- Experience supporting manufacturing systems, system troubleshooting, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Understanding of automation testing, system design, validation, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to lead investigations and solve complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with operations, engineering, quality, and technical teams.
- Knowledge of computer system validation and building management systems is advantageous.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational performance, quality, and compliance.
