Joining our Infrastructure & Real Estate team, you will advise leading organisations across government, transport, and complex facilities on project and asset lifecycle challenges and transformational transactions. Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position:
Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CFA, Construction, PM, QS, or equivalent) with 8+ years’ experience in a professional service role
5+ years’ hands-on infrastructure advisory experience in target sectors (public transport, roads, rail and light rail, ports, other government public infrastructure, or complex facilities such as data centres) is essential
Financial, commercial, assurance, project finance or capital project management experience, with demonstrated ability to analyse complex infrastructure projects, develop business cases, and provide strategic insight on infrastructure financing, procurement, and contracting—backed by strong Excel proficiency and commercial acumen
PPP experience desirable (pre-procurement, procurement or delivery stage)
NEC contracting experience desirable (procurement or delivery stage)
Contract/ construction management experience a bonus
Exceptional client-facing and relationship management skills, combined with strong problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail—with the ability to work autonomously, collaborate effectively across teams, and translate complex infrastructure challenges into actionable solutions
Diverse infrastructure experience from public sector, engineering consultancy, developer/equity, or professional services backgrounds, with knowledge of infrastructure project financing
What type of work will I be doing?
Identify, grow, and develop key client relationships across focus sectors positioning Deloitte as the trusted strategic advisor for infrastructure and asset lifecycle challenges
Draft, support, and drive high-impact deliverables for clients, including business cases, financial analysis, commercial and procurement strategies, and advisory reports that shape infrastructure investment and transaction decisions
Lead proposal development and bid submissions to target clients, translating their strategic objectives into compelling, market-leading solutions that differentiate Deloitte’s capability
Conduct critical reviews of business cases and plans for major infrastructure undertakings, providing rigorous financial, commercial, deliverability and strategic analysis to support informed decision-making
Collaborate across teams to deliver complete, integrated solutions for clients, ensuring seamless coordination across financial, commercial, and technical workstreams
Mentor and develop junior team members, sharing knowledge and experiences to build capability and foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence
Develop and implement work plans, ensuring adherence to quality control, resource allocation, and internal risk management procedures while maintaining the highest standards of delivery
