About the Role

This role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance lawyer with an understanding of debt capital markets, structured finance and securitisation transactions to join our growing team in Dublin. The team is highly collegiate and associates will enjoy unrivalled exposure to quality transactions.

The team works on a range of matters for top-tier clients and collaborates with other finance practice groups in Maples to provide a premium service to our clients while supporting the associates in the team. The successful candidate will advise on a wide variety of capital markets and structured finance products and related issues such as;

CLOs
RMBS, CMBS and other securitisation structures
Fund-linked structured fund products
Repackagings
Lending platforms
Debt issuance programmes

EXPERIENCE

What You Bring

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, a strong work ethic and a commitment to building a legal career in structured finance. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well within a team environment. The candidate's qualifications and experience will also include:

A minimum of 3-5 years' post qualification experience
A traineeship and experience gained within a top-tier- law firm in Ireland, the U.K., or internationally
A strong academic background, with excellent written communication and drafting skills
Excellent technical knowledge and a strong commercial awareness
