Full job description

Are you a talented and enthusiastic HVAC Lead?

Due to our growing CQV project workload, we now wish to appoint a CQV HVAC Lead to support a large scale Pharmaceutical project in Limerick.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of lead the design, installation, and qualification of HVAC systems to maintain controlled environments for manufacturing and cleanroom operations.

Oversee HVAC design, installation, and commissioning for new, high-value capital projects.
Manage BIM (Building Information Modelling), and developing technical specifications like P&IDs and equipment sizing.
Acting as the subject matter expert for HVAC, air handling units (AHU), and refrigeration systems.
Oversee HVAC system design and ensure compliance with ISO cleanroom classifications.
Leading, coaching, or overseeing teams for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC equipment, often collaborating with reliability and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Manage commissioning and qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Ensure environmental monitoring systems meet regulatory standards.
Collaborate with construction and validation teams for timely execution.
Troubleshoot HVAC performance issues and implement corrective actions.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
8+ years of experience in HVAC systems for pharma/biotech facilities.
Strong understanding of GMP, ISO 14644, and regulatory guidelines.
Ability to manage contractors and cross-functional teams.
Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
Expertise in HVAC systems, specifically for cleanroom environments.
