Our CEO, Conor, knows the pain first-hand. After founding and scaling Mad Egg in Ireland, he got fed up with juggling “market-leading” systems, clunky spreadsheets, and endless printouts. So he set out to build the tool he wished he’d had from day one.
Nory is an all-knowing restaurant management system. It blends real-time data with AI predictive analytics, giving operators control of their margins. From food prep to forecasting, it’s operational intelligence that helps restaurants run with consistency, certainty, and profit. The result? And we’re just getting started. Fresh off a Series B led by Kinnevik, we’ve grown to 80+ people across Ireland, the UK, Spain and New York – and demand is scaling faster than we ever imagined.
We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our Inventory Management squad.
Most inventory systems still feel like spreadsheets. You’ll design something far better: an intelligent inventory system that guides restaurants to be more profitable and automates admin tasks, helping restaurant owners and operators focus on what matters the most: happy customers and happy teams.
This is a role where access to customers is guaranteed, iterations are fast and feedback comes quickly. As a product designer, you’ll help shape what gets built as well as the end-to-end experience, working towards our vision of a purpose-built restaurant OS where AI assistants take control of prime cost.
The Squad
The Inventory Management squad owns the product surface that spans procurement, stock management and restaurant accounting: ordering ingredients from suppliers, making sure the invoice that lands a week later matches what had arrived, counting stock on Sunday nights, tracking what was binned vs served, and making sure every cent of it is accounted for in the P&L.
Right now, the squad is building AI assistants that turn tomorrow's forecasted demand into tonight's supplier orders, and that hunt down invoice discrepancies across hundreds of line items before a finance team has to go looking. We balance that with evolving the entire Nory system, shipping quickly and iterating on real customer feedback.
Own meaningful parts of the Inventory experience end to end - from understanding the problem through to shipping and learning from the outcome.
Design UX patterns for AI assistants across web and mobile that make restaurant and back office teams’ lives easier
Ship enhancements across the full Inventory surface, making the product effective and trustworthy for busy operators
Design to decrease time on task and increase clarity, using customer insights, product data, and business metrics to shape decisions and measure impact.
Work with cross-functional partners from product, engineering and customer success to deliver real business outcomes
Contribute to and evolve Bento, our design system.
Prototype fast, in Figma, code, or whatever helps you move quickest - to stress-test ideas internally and with customers.
Help the product grow up without getting old, bring enterprise-grade maturity without losing speed, creativity, or customer focus.
We’re looking for exceptional builders with a proven track record designing B2B, operational, or workflow-heavy products - ideally at SaaS start-ups or scale-ups during a period of rapid growth.
Depth of experience: 5+ years of end-to-end product design - taking a 0 1 product out the door, then scaling it 1 10 alongside PMs and engineers. A portfolio that’s simple and outcome-focused: the problem, the solution, your role, the result.
Real ownership: You’ve been the go-to person driving important product work forward, like rallying a team around a specific problem, testing hypotheses with real customers (not just throwing things at a wall and A/B testing), shipping, and “systemising” solutions for the company.
Goal focus: You care about business and customer impact and drive toward measurable outcomes. When you present work, you can explain how it moved the customer’s P&L.
Conviction: You hold strong, customer-informed opinions and can reason from first principles - while staying genuinely open to feedback and evidence.
High agency: You don’t wait for perfect conditions. You’re resourceful and proactive in ambiguous situations, and it shows in how you talk about your own work: you say “I decided,” not just “we decided.”
Systems thinking: You understand complex domains deeply, then rise above the complexity to make something radically simpler, never putting unnecessary complexity on screen.
Collaboration: You work effectively across functions and simplify complex ideas. You can point to decisions you made, not just what you’ve helped the team execute.
Technical fluency: Comfortable with HTML, CSS, React, Tailwind (or tools like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) to build dynamic prototypes - and you're not afraid to ship code to production when it helps.
Learning mindset: You’ve seen a product or company go from scrappy to “enterprise-grade” without losing momentum, and you actively build a playbook from what you learn.
Bonus points
You’ve brought a touch of B2C design sensibility to B2B products.
Experience in hospitality, food service, restaurant tech, inventory, procurement, or another operationally complex industry.
You’ve designed effective automation or AI-assisted experiences in a B2B product.
A track record of staying with a company as it scaled - from Series A/B/C - and taking on harder problems over time, rather than moving on quickly.
Side projects where you owned design, build, and distribution yourself.
