Established in 1994, Universal Products Limited is Ireland’s leading distributor of consumable hardware and security products to the Window and Door industry. We are currently seeking an Area Sales Managerwith a passion and instinct for generating new business and mining our large customer base in Republic of Ireland.

What will you be doing?
As the Area Sales Manager, you will be selling quality window and door hardware and security solutions to both large and medium sized businesses in the construction industry. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the role entails technical product demonstrations, researching the target market, identifying business development opportunities, planning the sales strategy, and winning against our competitors.
You will work closely with our external and internal sales teams to identify potential sales, and growth opportunities within the industry.

- You must have prior success selling B to B products at management level to wholesalers and SMEs in a highly competitive market.
- A proven track record in up-selling and cross-selling to an established account base.
- Experienced at creating, generating, and closing new business.
- Excel at finding and closing opportunities in a short to medium sales cycle.
- Be able to work independently without supervision.
- A reliable and trustworthy professional, committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability, focused on achieving agreed goals and exceeding expectations.
- You will have previous experience of consultative/solution type selling.
- Ability to identify the customer’s needs (or create needs).
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with staff, customers and the wider operations team.
- Know how to analyse market trends and competitor activities.
- Experience using a CRM reporting system.
- Resident and eligible to work full time in Republic of Ireland

· OTE €55-€70K .
· Uncapped commission structure.
