Sales Manager Healthcare

Location: Split between Fleming Medical Head Office and Field based.
Fleming Medical is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead our Healthcare Sales Team. This is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering sustainable sales growth across our Healthcare division while developing and inspiring a high-performing sales team.
As part of the commercial leadership team, you will lead the execution of our sales strategy, drive performance against key business objectives, and build strong relationships with major hospitals, healthcare providers, and industry partners throughout Ireland.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and have a proven track record of success within the Healthcare or Medical Devices sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for achieving Healthcare sales targets across medical equipment and consumables for hospitals, primary care, and industry customers throughout Ireland.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the Healthcare Sales Team to achieve commercial objectives and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that support business growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Manage relationships with key accounts, national contracts, and tendered business, ensuring excellent customer engagement and long-term partnerships.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth across existing and prospective customer accounts.
- Work closely with the New Product Development (NPD) and Marketing teams to identify market opportunities, customer needs, and product innovations.
- Partner with the Technical Services team to ensure an exceptional customer experience and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance to inform commercial decision-making.
- Represent Fleming Medical at international trade exhibitions, supplier meetings, and industry events.
Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years' experience in a senior commercial or sales management role, ideally within the Healthcare or Medical Devices industry.
- Proven experience managing HSE and private healthcare eTenders and national supply contracts.
- An established professional network or contacts within the Healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing campaigns and how they support commercial growth.
- Demonstrated success in leading, motivating, and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a results-driven approach.
- Proven ability to consistently deliver ambitious sales targets and business growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Full, clean Irish driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Ireland.
