Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team at our new facility in Dublin. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling of goods. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications, maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations.
Maintain an organised stock area, ensuring that items are stored correctly and easily accessible.
Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying the accuracy of shipments against documentation.
Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained and discrepancies are reported promptly.
Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) safely and effectively.
Familiarity with picking and packing processes is beneficial.
Experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is desirable; relevant certifications are a plus.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an asset.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
