Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced
Assistant Accommodation Manager to join our team.

Kinsale Hotel & Spa is one of the leading Kinsale Hotels. Set on 90 acres of mature wooded parkland with panoramic views overlooking Oysterhaven bay, this luxury hotel is committed to providing the highest standards and take pride in their tranquil surroundings.

The applicant should be a highly motivated individual with excellent experience. Working with the team in delivering superior guest care in the Kinsale Hotel and Spa.

The ideal candidate must have:

Previous supervisory experience in a 4 star hotel, preferably in Accommodation
Strong communication skills both oral and written
A proven track record of driving standards in a similar role
Excellent time management and organisational skills
A working knowledge of computers
A hands on approach
Flexibility is key, across weekdays and weekends

Key Responsibilities

Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping as per department SOP's.
Work closely with the front office to ensure correct room status is communicated.
Ensure all maintenance requests are communicated clearly to the Maintenance Team.
Deal with all guest request in a professional and timely manner.
Attend and actively contribute to scheduled meetings.
Hold a daily pre-shift meeting with team prior to their reporting to stations and ensure training is conducted.
Ensure that the office, linen room, floor storage rooms and trolleys are neatly maintained.
Ensure rooms are checked to the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance is reported.
Ensure that all checklists are being carried out by the linen porter, public area & night attendant.
Relieve other accommodation employee areas as and when necessary
Ensure team are aware of all relevant information pertaining to daily events, group functions, and guest activities.
Enforce procedures for the acceptance, security and return on guest lost property.
Conduct inventories of linen, supplies and equipment as required.
Order and receive supplies so as to maintain adequate inventory levels
Checking and maintaining of public areas and Reception
