Job Description
Due to continued growth in our Irish business, our Infrastructure Project Management team in Dublin are looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to work on exciting water infrastructure developments throughout Ireland. Responsibilities will include:

Managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of projects, in the water sector with a focus on progressing the design, procurement, construction delivery and budget management in line with construction and design schedules

Identifying and managing a diverse range of internal and external project Stakeholders, ensuring regular and timely communications at all levels of the business and ability to work collaboratively with the various stakeholders across all project stages

Collaborate with the various utility companies that the Client is engaging with and execute the connection agreements and water contracts with them, while also engaging with internal and external legal council where required.

Review, assess and process applications for payment from our Clients Delivery Partners and Utility companies that they are contractually engaged with.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing project and business requirements, with a strong technical ability to understand and digest technical information.

Apply and adhere to the client’s governance for all stages of the projects/ programmes and take them through the relevant approval gates

Ability to analyse issues, exercising judgement to make decisions and drive delivery of both large infrastructure projects and a range of multiple smaller projects within a programme

Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including Risk Register, Issue Register, Daily Log, Project schedules and Project Budgets;

Ensuring that appropriate project controls are in place within the team having regard to budgets, schedule, scope, quality risk and other performance indicators.

Leading and motivating project team members to ensure a sense of team and a clear understanding of goals and objectives;

Lead the management and administration of contracts, including NEC and FIDIC suite of contracts
-
Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative work environment;

Demonstrate enthusiasm to drive development and delivery of large infrastructure projects and programmes of work.
Qualifications
-
Holds a 3rd level relevant qualification (relevant qualifications include engineering, project management)
-
Holds a professional qualification awarded by a recognised chartered institute or association, in a discipline directly related to Project Management/ Engineering

Ideally holds an NEC PM accreditation;
-
Minimum 10 years experience of which five (5) years relevant experience in a role for a water utility client;
-
A successful past record of achievement in delivering water utility capital contracts;
-
Relevant experience of administration of NEC/FIDIC Conditions of Contract; and Relevant experience of project management of large portfolio of capital projects.
-
Role will involve visits to client offices and active sites throughout the country. Drivers license would be advantageous, but not essential.
