About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Tate team as a Purchasing Administrator. This role is a combination of supply chain management, operational planning and stakeholder management. Based on-site in our dynamic and diverse Head Office in Dublin 10 you will work within a team of 3 and take ownership for placing orders with suppliers, maintaining minimum stock of vital stock items and delivering procurement solutions for the business. At Tate, we are growing exponentially, so you will work within a changing, dynamic environment as the conduit between our customers and our business to ensure efficiency, accuracy and customer excellence.
This role will require strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and expertise in coordinating activities using SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) software. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring supply chain integrity, addressing issues promptly, and maintaining effective coordination within the manufacturing process. This role requires a high degree of internal liaison with departments (such as Transport and Warehouse) to ensure stock levels are maintained and managed, as well as, working with our finance team to ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Assess manufacturing demand and place purchase orders for stock required to maintain manufacturing operations.
- Liaise with all departments to place purchase orders for overhead spend and ensure timely delivery of all goods and services ordered.

Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently in SAP, ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.

Monitor and follow up on open purchase orders, proactively engaging with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any order delays.

Run Management Resource Planning tools on SAP to guarantee all orders can be met On-Time In Full.

Ensure data integrity to guarantee that all information in SAP is accurate and can be used to create accurate forecasts for the business as a whole.
- Handle Supplier complaints and liaise with various stakeholders in the business to ensure there are no reoccurrences of any complaints raised.
- Responsible for any other reasonable duties as and when required and requested. The title of your job does not define or limit your employment.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education: A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role
