The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Channel Account Manager to lead growth across Ireland and Northern Ireland. This is a commercially focused role that blends strategic channel management with genuine business development. Around 60% of your time will be focused on developing and enabling channel partner relationships; the remaining 40% will be centred on hunting for new business, creating demand, and opening opportunities across key vertical markets.

This is not a purely account management role - we need someone who is motivated by prospecting, pipeline creation, and winning new business. You’ll work closely with our Sales Manager, regional BDMs, solution specialists, and internal teams to expand Gallagher’s market presence and deliver profitable outcomes.

Your role at a glance:

Develop and manage strategic channel partner relationships across Ireland and Northern Ireland

Drive partner performance through joint business planning, regular engagement, and clear growth activity

Actively hunt for new business opportunities through existing and new channel partners

Build relationships with end users, consultants, and industry influencers to create demand

Identify, qualify, nurture, and close profitable opportunities in target verticals and territories

Deliver presentations, support tenders, and work with technical specialists on solution-led opportunities

Maintain strong CRM discipline, forecasting, reporting, and market insight sharing

The Fit

We’re looking for a sales professional who understands the value of strong channel partnerships but still has the drive, curiosity, and pace of a hunter. You’ll be commercially sharp, proactive, and comfortable working in a technical B2B environment where trust, insight, and persistence matter.

What you’ll bring:

At least 5 years’ proven B2B sales experience, ideally within technology, security, or a related solutions-led environment

Experience managing channel, reseller, installer, integrator, or partner relationships

A strong new business mindset, with confidence prospecting, generating leads, and converting opportunities

Solution selling capability and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly

Commercial confidence, including negotiation, forecasting, pipeline management, and account planning

Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility with partners, customers, and internal stakeholders

A results-driven, collaborative approach, with high integrity and accountability
