Full job description

Most sales roles have you convincing people to trust something unproven. This one's the opposite: two decades spent dominating one niche, a retention rate most SaaS businesses would kill for, and a client list of recognisable banks, insurers and retailers across Ireland and the UK already vouching for it before you've said a word.

That's a genuine edge - but this isn't a pure hunting role. Most of your time goes into owning and growing a portfolio of existing accounts: renewals, relationship management, and helping clients get more value (and often spend more) as they grow. Layered on top of that, you'll close new business too, with sales cycles that can run from a week to six months and real skill needed to build the case properly.

What's actually in it for you

Own a book of business, 60 accounts, from small clients through to major enterprise brands and run it your way. No micromanagement, no scripts, no busywork for the sake of activity metrics.
This is a relationship-led role first most of your time is spent protecting and growing that book, not cold-calling all day. New business is part of the mix, and it's rewarded well when you land it.
Report straight into the Head of Sales, inside a tight three-person commercial team where your work gets seen and your wins get noticed.
New business pays a higher commission rate than renewals, so going out and winning new logos genuinely moves the needle on what you take home.
Sell consultatively, not aggressively. This isn't a boiler-room, always be closing culture it's relationship-building with a product good enough that clients often refer you before you've even asked.
Hybrid working, two days from home, inside a small team that doesn't run on hustle-culture theatrics.

What we are looking for in you:

This isn't a role where you're handed a script and a list of warm leads. You'll need:

Genuine commercial instinct - you can spot an opportunity and close it
The organisation to manage a sales cycle that can run anywhere from a week to six months
The confidence to run your own product demos
