Your role:

As an Category Sales Manager for Oakley, you will be responsible for delivering fast-paced, profitable growth across the Island of Ireland by winning new business, closing opportunities, and driving strong in-market performance of the frames category.
Reporting into the Country Sales Manager Ireland & Northern Ireland, this role owns the commercial performance of a portfolio of customers, combining high activity levels, strong closing capability, and effective category management to maximise sales and share of wallet.
Operating in a dynamic and competitive environment, the role requires a proactive, results-driven approach, balancing relationship building with a strong focus on conversion, execution, and immediate commercial impact.

Main responsibilities:

Own and deliver sales, margin, and growth targets across your assigned territory.
Drive new business acquisition, identify commercial opportunities, and build a strong sales pipeline.
Lead customer negotiations and secure commercial agreements that maximize sales performance.
Develop strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted commercial partner while driving growth and retention.
Manage and optimize product assortments, ensuring strong brand visibility, adoption of new collections, and effective stock management.
Use sales and market data to identify growth opportunities, monitor performance, and support accurate forecasting.
Collaborate with internal teams across our categories such as Lenses, Instruments, and Sell-Out functions to deliver integrated customer solutions and increase share of wallet.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and professional standards.

Main requirements:

Proven experience in field sales or account management within a fast-paced commercial environment
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and winning new business
Demonstrated ability to close deals and convert opportunities
Commercially driven with high energy and resilience
Strong understanding of retail and category dynamics
