Community Access Facilitator - Residential

Stillorgan, Co. Dublin

39 hours per week

Job reference: CAF_STILL_0408

Essential criteria for the position of Community Access Facilitator:

A full QQI level 7 Award in Social Care/ Studies or relevant 3rd Level Qualification at degree level i.e.; Social Work, Psychology is essential, (or relevant qualification received outside the state recognised by NARIC equivalent to Irish level 7).
At least six month's recent experience working in the Social Care field supporting people with complex needs
Availability to work shifts on a rota basis including evenings and weekends and waking night duty shifts
Full, clean Irish driving licence essential with requirement to drive service vehicles
Permission to work in Ireland essential

Qualifications required for a Community Access Facilitator:

A full QQI level 7 Award in Social Care/ Studies or relevant 3rd Level Qualification at degree level i.e.; Social Work, Psychology is essential, with at least six month's recent experience working in a Social Care field supporting people with complex needs

Skills/Abilities required of a Community Access Facilitator:

Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector
Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism
Proven ability to work on own initiative
Proven experience in the implementation and development of support/care plans and PCPs
Places the needs of the person supported as the key focus in all activities
Delivers support according to the persons PCP and care plan
Fluent English and excellent communication skills
Full clean Irish driving licence essential with requirement to drive service vehicles
