Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland is a leading distributor of passenger and commercial vehicle parts to motor factors, garages, franchise networks and public services throughout the UK and Ireland. Supported by a top-tier logistics network comprising over 300 local stores, 20 Regional Distribution Centres, our state-of-the-art 1 million square foot National Distribution Centre, and a workforce of over 6,000 colleagues, our business model prioritises maintaining an extensive and readily available product range to uphold the quality of our service offerings.

An exciting position has arisen for a Stock Controller to join our busy team based at the Dublin, Park West Head Office. Working closely with the Product managers, the Stock Controller is responsible for the day-to-day stock replenishment for all branches under their control, liaising with suppliers and branch managers regarding supply issues and order solutions.

We are offering a competitive salary and ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a daily relationship with all branches avoiding potential stock issues arising.
Resolving problems as quick and efficiently as possible when needed.
Due date stock control to be managed so we do not double up stock with 2nd line supply.
Reporting daily to the Purchase Manager if branch levels need adjusting, any movement with pricing, Quantity break price analysis and G-net issues if needed.
Review the Purchase Order status at the branches under your control.
Dealing with a high volume of Email orders in a timely manner.
Liaising with Branch Managers and Suppliers.
Checking purchase order status.
Run unapproved stock requirements.
Responsible for the management of orders, so not to increase individual carriage charges.

Essential requirements.

The ideal candidate must possess strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and be able to work on their own initiative. Previous experience working within the Automotive sector is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
