NTT DATA is currently looking for a Data Delivery Director in Dublin for our growing team in Ireland.
We are looking for a Data Delivery Director, responsible for leading, shaping (incl. commercials, scope definition, outcomes, teams, skills) and executing complex data programmes. The Director will be accountable for high-risk, high-value data delivery, have the ability to operate across the full data delivery lifecycle, and have the leadership experience to be the senior escalation point and leader within data delivery teams.
The team you'll be working with:
You will join NTT DATA Ireland's Data Practice, a specialist data team delivering enterprise-scale data platforms, analytics and data-led transformation for clients.
As part of the growing NTT DATA Ireland’s Data Practice, you will have a leadership role, and lead our complex data deliveries, helping clients move beyond traditional data work to driving high-impact, value-focused business outcomes through data.
You will lead and work alongside data leaders, data architects, data engineers, platform specialists and consultants across the entire span of the Data Practice’s services and offerings to shape high-impact deals, lead execution and safely deliver client outcomes.
The role carries full accountability for end-to-end programme delivery, financial performance, client satisfaction, and strategic growth across portfolios of up to €50m. You will operate as a trusted advisor to CxO stakeholders, ensuring high-quality outputs, predictable delivery while driving commercial value and long-term partnership growth.

What you'll be doing:
Data delivery leadership
- Lead large-scale, complex data, analytics and AI portfolios (€30m+) with full accountability for delivery performance, governance, quality, and client financial outcomes.
- Oversee multiple concurrent programmes and projects, ensuring alignment to client strategy and contractual commitments.
- Maintain a proactive, ‘no surprises’ delivery culture with strong forecasting, risk management, and transparent stakeholder reporting.
Client and executive engagement
- Build and sustain trusted, senior-level relationships (CxO and Director-level) within organisations across market sectors.
- Achieve high client satisfaction through consistent, high-quality delivery and strategic partnerships.
- Act as a senior escalation point, resolving complex commercial, operational and delivery challenges.
Commercial and financial management
- Own programme financial performance, including budget control, margin management, forecasting, and cost modelling.
- Manage contractual obligations across a range of contracting models, including across outcome-focused data delivery and data product contractual approaches.
- Support pre-sales and bid activity, ensuring delivery validation, mobilisation readiness, and realistic commercial modelling.
- Collaborate with Client Partners to identify and drive growth and account expansion opportunities.
Governance and assurance
- Ensure robust application of data delivery governance, assurance, and reporting frameworks, being able to operate independently of senior leadership whilst keeping senior leadership engaged at the appropriate points in delivery.
- Implement and monitor KPIs aligned to client outcomes and business objectives.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, change control, quality, and configuration management.
Leadership and capability development
- Lead cross-disciplinary, globally distributed data teams across internal service lines and partner ecosystems.
- Drive high-performance data team culture through structured objective setting, feedback, development, and performance management.
- Secure and mobilise appropriate data and AI resources in collaboration with Practices and Service Lines.
- Foster continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing from data deliveries to elevate benefits for future clients and NTT DATA.
What experience you'll bring:
- Strong leadership experience of leading and inspiring data delivery teams, growing robust data practices, and creating an environment for data talent growth.
- Market-leadership and pioneering data leadership experience, demonstrable through conferences, articles or similar thought leadership.
- Experience leading and delivering complex data deliveries for Tier 1 clients – from leading to shaping to executing (incl. market, client, commercial, outcome and team management) – delivery programmes for clients’ most complex data challenges.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in mixed technical and business teams.
- Proven track record of leading complex data and AI programmes and portfolios up to €50m in value.
- Extensive experience engaging and influencing CxO stakeholders, and leading globally-distributed, multi-supplier, and client data teams.
- Advanced stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities and experience.
- Strong commercial acumen, including financial modelling, margin management, and experience across multiple contracting approaches.
- Practical experience with Agile, Scaled Agile, MSP, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and risk with a forward-looking, solution-oriented mindset.
