Employee Experience and Productivity (EEP) is part of IS&T and delivers some of the most widely used communication and productivity technology and services across Apple - from tools that enable collaboration to the support teams that keep Apple's workforce running. EEP also leads user experience design and research, and manages the systems behind Apple's original content studios. Within this team is Employee Engagement & Engineering (EEE), a small, global team that quickly delivers with long-term vision, building durable, reliable systems meant to last. Our focus is on crafting high-quality, user-centred experiences - delivering AI and system interoperability to make every interaction intuitive, seamless, and genuinely useful for the people who rely on our tools.
Description
As an Early Careers Full Stack Software Engineer on the EEE team, you will help build and maintain web applications powered by Python and PHP backends, with frontends ranging from React and Vue to server-rendered templates and plain JavaScript. Much of the Python work involves internal Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that connect Apple's tools and data to AI systems. You will work across the stack - building user-facing interfaces, developing APIs and service-layer logic, and working with the data stores behind them - gaining broad experience in how modern web platforms are built and operated.
Partnering with senior engineers, you will take ownership of well-scoped tasks that span frontend and backend. You'll handle day-to-day work with growing independence while relying on their guidance to navigate new or more complex problems. As you go, you'll begin to connect your work to broader team and business objectives, building strong foundations in full-stack development within a small, globally distributed team where your contributions are visible from day one.","responsibilities":"Develop features across the stack - building frontend interfaces (React, Vue, or server-rendered templates) and the Python and PHP backend logic behind them
