Head Bartender

Experience

1+ years of bartending experience.
Experience in:
High-volume bars or restaurants.
Cocktail and craft drink preparation.
Bar inventory management.

Key Skills

Inventory control and stock ordering.
Cash handling and POS system operation.
Knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits.

Leadership Skills

Staff supervision and scheduling.
Training and mentoring bartenders and barbacks.
Conflict resolution.
Team coordination during busy service periods
Time Management

Customer Service Skills

Excellent guest interaction.
Ability to handle complaints professionally.
Upselling drinks and specials.

Knowledge Requirements

Alcohol laws and responsible service.
Bar hygiene and sanitation standards.
Cost control and waste reduction.
Understanding of bar profitability and drink costing.

Personal Attributes

Strong communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
Friendly, energetic, and professional attitude.
Strong organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods.
Lift bar supplies (usually 15–25 kg).
Work late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Responsibilities

Creating seasonal cocktail menus.
Managing bar opening and closing procedures.
Monitoring stock levels and supplier orders.
Ensuring compliance with alcohol regulations.
Maintaining bar cleanliness and presentation.
